Silent Night

It wasn't short,
yet it hasn't been awhile.

We chose the most comfortable way,
to defer,
to hide,
to wait,
to run.

Dun judge,
on how a person chose to solve their solutions.
It may be abusive,
It may be heart wrenching,
It may be fatal,
But it may be the only way,
to comfort their soul.

The way a person handle their emotions,
may be similar but always different from every other individuals.

To respect,
To still believe,
To hold on to those words they said to you.

You flinch,
You fled,
You fear,
You fuck yourself up,

You wait.
and then...

You love again.
